Your profile picture is your representative on the social media platform. It is usually a static image taken over a decade ago when you were still handsome and covered in a layer of fat as thick as bread. For those who want to make your Facebook profile picture look more interesting, it can now be transformed into an animation using Meta AI.
Starting today, Facebook is providing an animate profile picture feature. Press your profile picture and choose to transform your picture into an animation. There are several animation options that have been set, such as making a heart logo with your hand and wearing a party hat. There is no feature to insert your own prom to create a more unique animation.
Also introduced today is the ability to transform uploaded Reels and Moments using the Restyle feature, which is also under the Meta AI umbrella. Pictures can be transformed into Studio Ghibli-style animations and several other presets are available. At the time of writing, this feature has not yet arrived in Malaysia, but Facebook says it will be provided in stages starting today.
