Infinix introduces the XOS 16 interface built on Android 16. This version offers a smoother and smarter user experience for daily use. In terms of design, XOS 16 comes with a new interface inspired by light while the system icons have been redesigned to look neater.
In addition, XOS 16 comes with various artificial intelligence (AI)-based features that make it easy for users to automatically generate wallpapers, themes and display effects. Through functions such as AI Theme Generator and AI Studio, images can be converted into anime, doodle or 3D portrait styles, thus making the user experience more enjoyable.
The system also provides a dedicated AI button that allows users to quickly access more than thirty applications. At the same time, the Flash Memo and Ask Folax functions make it easy to record screen content and automatically generate summaries.
In addition, there is AI Writing that helps edit text more easily, AI Note that converts sketches into notes and AI Call Assistant that offers real-time translation and call summaries for users' convenience.
For gaming enthusiasts, XOS 16 provides XBoost mode that allows users to choose between high performance, balanced or power saving. At the same time, it offers technology that adds extra frames to make the display look smoother, provides a Bypass Charging function to reduce heat, and an anti-interference mode that helps block calls and notifications so that the game is not interrupted.
Battery management in XOS 16 is improved through the Battery Self-Repair function that helps extend the life. It also introduces Touch Transfer for iPhone that allows users to share photos including Live Photos via NFC without the need for a network. In addition, XOS 16 improves touch accuracy when the screen is wet or hands are sweaty, while Motion Sickness Relief Mode provides comfort while traveling.
XOS 16 will come pre-installed on new Infinix phones while existing devices will receive this update in stages. The list of eligible models will be announced later.
