Intel Core Ultra G3 For Mobile Consoles To Be Introduced Soon

A few weeks ago, Intel introduced their latest laptop processor series, the Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” which comes with the latest Intel Xe3 processor offering specifically for the processor series.

Recently, it was reported that Intel will introduce a series of processor chips based on the Panther Lake series called Intel Core Ultra G3 which will consist of two types of models, namely Intel Core Ultra G3 Extreme and Intel Core Ultra G3, similar to what AMD did with their AMD Ryzen Z1 and Z2 processor series.

What is known about these two processors is that they will be equipped with 14 physical cores consisting of two Performance cores, eight Efficiency cores and four Low Power Efficiency cores. But what is more interesting is the graphics processing chip that will be paired with these two chips.

The Intel Core Ultra G3 Extreme will be equipped with the Intel Arc B380 graphics chip, which is similar to the Intel Arc B390 offering on the Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 processors, but with a slightly lower frequency speed.

For the Intel Core Ultra G3 model, it will be equipped with the Intel Arc B360 graphics processing chip, a new graphics chip model that comes with 10 Intel Xe3 cores, and is expected to power more affordable gaming consoles.

This is the first time Intel has introduced a dedicated processing chip for mobile gaming consoles, as previously manufacturers such as MSI would only use the existing Intel Meteor Lake and Lunar Lake chips for their MSI Claw consoles.

With this, it is expected that the performance optimization and battery power consumption for gaming consoles using this processing chip will be even better. Intel is expected to start introducing this series of processing chips in the second quarter of 2026.
