Zetrix AI, previously known as MyEG, a local public digital services development company, recently reportedly received an investment of $40 million (~RM155 million) from International Finance Corp, an investment company under the World Bank, and will reportedly list its artificial intelligence technology development division on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
This AI division is called AI Foundation Lab and after receiving the investment and listing on the exchange, it will be responsible for developing more public digital infrastructure in various countries in Malaysia, around the Southeast Asian region and many other developing markets.
According to TS Wong, Managing Director of Zetrix AI, AI Foundation Lab will open an office in the United States to enable it to be listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange, and expects that its listing as a public company will be finalized by the end of this year.
