ASUS Introduces Three New Gaming Monitors Under the ROG Strix Brand

After launching a number of gaming desktops and laptops earlier this year, they have now also introduced three new gaming displays under the ROG STRIX brand, including the ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMG Gen2, ASUS STRIX XG27ACDMS and ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMES.

Starting with the ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMG Gen2, this display uses a 27-inch WOLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 that comes with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a brightness value of up to 1300 nits with DisplayHDR 400 TrueBlack support and comes with a TrueBlack Glossy finish for a truly dark black display.

The ASUS STRIX XG27ACDMS and ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMES use QD-OLED panels with the same resolution, with the XG27ACDMS model featuring a 280Hz refresh rate and 1000 nit brightness with DisplayHDR 400 TrueBlack support, while the XG27AQDMES has a 240Hz refresh rate and 400 nit brightness.

All three displays feature OLED Care Pro with Neo Promiximity Sensor that will reduce brightness when users move away from the computer to reduce the OLED burn-in issue that is often seen plaguing many displays using OLED panels.

It is not yet known when these displays will go on sale, but pricing for select markets has been revealed. The ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMG Gen2 is priced at $649, while the ASUS STRIX XG27ACDMS is priced at $669 and the ASUS STRIX XG27AQDMES at $599.
