After being kicked out almost six years ago, Fortnite will be available for download again via the Google Play Store starting March 19. Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite will return to all markets around the world after it was only accessible in a few markets in December last year.
For now, Fortnite can only be played on Android devices via manual sideloading or installing the Epic Games Store app. Fortnite's return to the Play Store is seen as one of the conditions imposed by Epic Games to settle a lawsuit against Google out of court in November last year.
Fortnite has been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for bypassing the in-app purchase system used by the platforms. This is because Epic Games does not want Google and Apple to take a cut of every transaction made by players.
