Intel introduced the Core Ultra 200HX Plus series with two that focus on high-performance gaming for laptops. The two chips are the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and the Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus. In addition to focusing on mobile gaming performance, it is also powerful for streaming, content creation and professional work computer users.
In terms of performance, the gaming performance of the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus is 8% better than the Ultra 9 285HX. It is also 62% better for gaming when compared to the Intel i9‑12900. Intel Binary Optimization Tool support is also included to increase instructions per processor cycle (IPC) even when software is developed for other X86 CPUs, mobile consoles and older architectures.
In addition, the Core Ultra 200HX Plus series also comes with support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and Thunderbolt 5 up to 80Gbps bidirectional. Laptops with the Core Ultra 200HX Plus are now being sold by manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Razer and many more.
