The Oppo Find N6 was launched today in the global market. It is another foldable screen device with a thin body and a bezel-less internal screen and a new AI Pen stylus. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 screen, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB of UFS 41. storage, and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.
The device comes with a 6.62″ OLED 120Hz outer screen while the inner screen is a 8.12″ OLED 120Hz foldable. The screen is of the LTPO type that supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. The crease effect is not noticeable on the inner screen because the Zero Feel Crease technology uses 3D printing techniques to reduce the curvature of the second-generation Flexion Hinge.
Even when closed, the Find N6 is 8.93 mm thick and when opened it is 4.21 mm thick with a total weight of the device of 225 grams. The body of the device also passes the IP59 standard.
The main camera consists of a 200MP wide angle, a 50MP ultra-wide angle and a 50MP periscope telephoto. Two selfie cameras on the outside and inside use 20MP sensors. The Hasselblad camera system and X-Pan mode are also included. This is an improvement from the 50+8+50MP rear camera and 8MP selfie on the Find N5.
There is a Snap Key button like on the Find X9 which allows the camera, Mind Space, audio recording, light and many other features to be launched when it is pressed. There is no longer a drop-down button that was previously borrowed from OnePlus.
The operating system used is ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Through this operating system, the Task Bar feature is included to facilitate the process of switching applications in tablet mode. Boundless View also allows up to three applications to be launched simultaneously. Because we are in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), the FInd N6 comes with the feature of automatically generating phone call transcripts complete with summaries, Google Gemini support, photo editing also with AI and real-time translation features through the Translate application.
The AI Pen stylus can be used on the outer and inner screens with Oppo offering it with a frame that has built-in storage. The AI Pen can also be tethered to the Find N6 using Bluetooth allowing it to be used as a camera control tool and switch between applications by pressing the button on the side. Oppo now offers a feature that Samsung has discontinued on the S Pen.
Through the O+ Connect application, Find N6 owners can send files to Apple devices and control MacBook computers directly from the device screen. This is a continuation of the features offered on the Find N5 last year.
The device is offered in two color options, namely Stellar Titanium and Orange Blossom. In Malaysia, the Oppo Find N5 is sold at a price of RM8699 each for the 16/512GB version. Pre-orders have been open since March 9 until March 19. Those who pre-order will receive free gifts in the form of an Oppo AI Pen kit worth RM599, Oppo Watch S worth RM899 or a LeFant M320 robot vacuum worth RM1099 while stocks last.
