The Poco X series will return with a new model on March 17, 2026. This device is named the Poco X8 which is the successor to the previous X7 model. It is also expected to continue the previous legacy by offering powerful internal hardware in an affordable device. This is also illustrated through the use of the tagline ‘Speed to the Max’ which gives a hint that the Poco X8 will come with a more powerful hardware offering than the previous generation.
In a previous update, Poco shared details about the processing chips that will be used, namely the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra and MediaTek Dimensity 9500s. However, it is still not certain which chip will be used for each variant. However, this situation seems to confirm that this new series is likely to come in two model options, either the standard or pro version, thus giving more choices to users.
