Bluesky media platform is seen as an alternative to social media platform Twitter after it was acquired by Elon Musk. It is now five years old, and the company's first CEO, Jay Graber, has announced that he will step down from the position to become a developer again to introduce new features to the platform.
It is reported that Toni Schneider, an investor and advisor to the company, will take over as CEO on an interim basis, while Bluesky searches for a new leader to fill the position.
Jay Graber will take on the role of Chief Innovation Officer, developing new services for Bluesky and taking on a more technical role, and may introduce paid products such as premium subscriptions and the like.
