The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo electric racing concept car was unveiled at MWC Barcelona yesterday. It makes Xiaomi the first Chinese EV manufacturer to join the Vision Gran Turismo program for the Gran Turismo video game. In keeping with its status as a hyper racing car, the Vision GT is equipped with an electric motor with 1900 horsepower, a low aggressive design, wing-like doors, a large carbon fiber spoiler, and carbon-ceramic brakes
The design is very aerodynamic with a futuristic cockpit that accommodates only a driver and a passenger. The battery system is Xiaomi's own 900V SiC. The cockpit is designed to provide the driver with comfort as if sitting on the couch at home. The system used by the vehicle is compatible with various devices under the Xiaomi ecosystem. The Xiaomi Pulse lighting system changes the lighting in the cabin according to the driver's mood.
The aerodynamic body with an air friction coefficient of 0.29, produces a downforce of -1.2 and has an aerodynamic efficiency rating of 4.1. The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is just a concept and will be offered in the Gran Turismo 7 video game in the near future.
