MEASAT, the satellite technology management company in Malaysia and the company behind the satellite internet technology service CONNECTMENOW, announced the appointment of John Loke as their Chief Technology Officer today.
He will lead the Satellite and Network Engineering & Operations, as well as Information Technology & Digital Transformation, and lead the technical aspects of satellite acquisition and launch. In addition, he will also oversee Measat’s digital evolution and regional strategy and shape the company’s future through AI-driven solutions.
Previously, John Loke held the position of Chief Executive Officer of another satellite internet service provider in Singapore and was one of the individuals responsible for launching the ST-1 satellite.
In fact, before joining the company, John Loke also worked at MEASAT for a decade, holding senior positions such as Vice President of Network Engineering & Operations and Customer Engineering and was one of the individuals responsible for the launch of the MEASAT 3-a and MEASAT 3-b satellites, along with the CONNECTMENOW satellite internet service.
