Threads Is Testing a New Web Interface

Threads is working to make its app more relevant. The latest is that the platform will introduce two major updates in the upcoming version.

Among the main ones is the addition of a structured or overlapping reply format where each reply is displayed below the original post. Through this update, users will find it easier to follow the flow of the conversation and understand the context of each reply. This makes the conversation clearer and easier to follow.

In addition, Threads is also testing a new web interface that is more user-friendly and in line with the mobile app experience. The latest view features the main feed on the right and a function bar on the left similar to the X style (formerly known as Twitter). In addition, the update will also bring private messages (DM) to the desktop version for the first time with easy access via the left panel.

This move is expected to make Threads more user-friendly on the web and add value to the messaging function to increase user engagement. Threads informed that messages on the web are not yet available for public testing but will begin to be introduced to users in the coming weeks.
