Watch out, humans, the future of Terminator robots that can run as fast as the fastest humans is getting closer. Unitree Robotics announced that their H1 humanoid robot can now run at speeds of up to 10.1 m/s, which is almost the same speed as Usain Bolt when he set the 100m world record (10.44 m/s).
The H1 robot has a physique that is almost the same as a human, with thigh and calf heights of around 80 cm. Unitree predicts that the H1 will be able to break Usain Bolt's 100m record of 9.58 seconds by the middle of this year.
China has begun to master the world of humanoid robots after successfully mastering the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Last year, the world's first Humanoid Robot Games were held in China. A Chinese-made robot, AgiBot A2, currently holds the record for the farthest run of 106.286 km with a Real Steel-like robot fighting league established in Shenzhen.
