UpScrolled is one of the alternative social platforms that has received a lot of attention since the beginning of the year – especially after TikTok in the United States changed its ownership to the ownership of the company in the western country. In February 2025, UpScrolled recorded 2.5 million registered users, and it is now shared that it has reached over 5 million registered users.
UpScrolled comes without an algorithm, and offers a chronological order, more or less the same as Daun. However, it focuses more on visual sharing through it. It was started in an effort to overcome various social media that block pro-Palestinian content.
The application, which was initially started alone, now has a team of 25 people, who work cross-functionally in terms of branding, engineering, and also for content moderation. UpScrolled is also currently operating with investment funds and has not yet made any money. For now, they have not figured out a way to generate revenue through it.
