WhatsApp Tests Built-in Noise Filter Feature for Better Call Quality

WhatsApp has a new feature that is being tested, namely the ability to filter noise to improve the quality of audio and video calls. This feature is provided built-in and is now being tested among a few beta users first before being launched to the public. This is to get feedback and improve over time before being given to users widely.

The advantage of this feature is that it allows conversations to be more natural and easy to understand especially in noisy areas. Users can enable or disable this function through the call menu, but according to WhatsApp, it is usually activated automatically as soon as the call starts.

This feature works by detecting and filtering environmental noise to ensure that the voice of the person speaking remains clear, thus making the conversation easier to understand even in noisy environments. By minimizing distractions, it is seen to help improve the calling experience without requiring complicated settings.

Again, it is reminded that for now it is still in the testing phase and is only offered to a few users first before being widely launched.
