2026 seems to be the year where we see many new processor chip models introduced by various parties such as AMD, Apple, Intel and Qualcomm which all now want to dominate the laptop market.
ASUS has introduced the latest laptop offering from their ProArt series, called ASUS ProArt PZ14 which comes with a 2-in-1 tablet computer design that comes with a display that can be detached from the keyboard section.
If you are familiar with laptops like the Microsoft Surface Pro, the ASUS ProArt PZ14 model can be said to resemble those laptops, where the tablet section is connected to the keyboard via magnetic pins.
This laptop comes with a 14-inch OLED screen display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 and a higher 16:10 aspect ratio. It also comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and a brightness value of 500 nits in SDR mode and 1000 nits in HDR mode.
The ASUS ProArt PZ14 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 processor with 16GB and 32GB of LPDDR5X memory options along with 1TB of SSD storage. In terms of plug support, this laptop is seen housing support for two USB4 Type-C plugs, a built-in SD card reader. It also comes with support for fast WIFI7 wireless internet connections.
The ASUS ProArt PZ14 has already been shown in China, Italy and Spain, and is expected to enter other markets soon.
