Microsoft has recently introduced a new update for the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X portable PC console that features additional features that improve the quality of the gaming experience on the console.
With this latest update, Microsoft has introduced the Auto SR or Automatic Super Resolution feature which works similarly to the AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS features which increases the game resolution and shows a sharper game output quality when playing computer games with this console.
This mode can be shown and will be activated automatically when the console is used in dock mode. Auto SR is seen to be very useful when the display output is moved to a larger screen.
Meanwhile, this update also introduces a mouse cursor that can be controlled using the console's joystick for those who want easier screen control without having to use the touch function, especially when used in handheld mode.
The Xbox PC App software has also been updated to allow users to access various PC game purchase stores more easily.
Launching this month, users can add, remove, edit and launch any installed game or app directly from the Xbox experience, including games from other PC game stores and launchers.
Microsoft has also introduced several other additional features to enhance the PC gaming experience on the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X console, which are expected to be rolled out to other consoles soon.
