CapCut, a subsidiary of ByteDance that focuses on video editing, today announced that they have signed a collaboration with Google Gemini. With this collaboration, it will simultaneously allow users to edit photos and images directly on the Gemini app, but using Gemini's editing offerings and capabilities.
With this move, users can generate and edit directly on Gemini, and do not need to switch applications.
For now, CapCut has only announced the collaboration, and this feature is still not offered yet. Perhaps we will see CapCut's integration on Gemini in the near future.
