China Launches First Gaming Graphics Card – Lisuan LX 7G100

When I first started dabbling in the world of PC gaming, the first graphics card I bought was the Sirge S3. It wasn’t the best but it was the cheapest on the market compared to cards from Voodoo, Matrox, ATI and NVIDIA. All gaming graphics card manufacturers are traditionally from the United States. Last weekend, the Lisuan LX 7G100 graphics card was launched as the first gaming graphics card from China.

As a first-generation product, the performance of the Lisuan LX 7G100 is only on par with the NVIDIA RTX 3060 launched in 2021. It comes with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, DX12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 3.0 support. The supported resolution is up to 8K 60Hz with HDR and FreeSync. This card is the first to receive Microsoft WHQL driver software certification besides cards from AMD, Intel and NVIDIA.

A Lisuan LX 7G100 starts at RMB 2969 (~RM 1726), which is more expensive than the much more powerful RTX 4060, Intel Arc B580, and RX 6600 XT. However, Lisuan says the first 30,000 units have already sold out.
