DJI Osmo Mobile 8P was launched globally yesterday and is also available in Malaysia with several package options. Prices start at RM569 for the Standard Combo package, while the Advanced Track Combo package is sold at RM695 and the Creator Combo package is priced at RM795. The product is available through DJI Malaysia and selected official distributors.
The Osmo Mobile 8P comes as a camera gimbal with a removable display module that attaches magnetically and functions as a wireless remote control. The built-in control screen displays the camera's live view, making it easy to select subjects.
The Osmo Mobile 8P is also equipped with a directional control lever that makes gimbal control easier, zooming capabilities smoother and lighting adjustments flexible. The Smart Follow 8.0 intelligent feature provides more stable subject tracking while Tracking Module 2 ensures more consistent tracking. This module also comes with an additional lighting lamp that can be adjusted in brightness and color temperature, thus improving recording quality.
The Osmo Mobile 8P supports Apple DockKit for instant connection via NFC and Bluetooth. It comes with a tripod, additional light, up to 10 hours of battery life, and a USB-C port for charging your phone while recording. Additional functions such as hand gesture control, automatic camera movement, and composition assistance are also provided to enhance the user's recording experience.
