Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series to Arrive in Malaysia on 19 May 2026 – Watch Ultimate Spring Edition Also Introduced

Following the global launch in Bangkok earlier today, Huawei has now shared the official launch date for the Malaysian market which is scheduled for 19 May 2025. Three products will be introduced including wearable devices and audio accessories. The wearable devices consist of the Huawei Watch Fit 5 series and Huawei Watch Ultimate Spring Edition, while the Huawei Freelip 2 Berry Purple audio accessory was also launched on the same day.

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 comes in two models, the Pro and Standard versions, with pre-orders now open for a deposit of RM50. The Pro version features early diabetes detection functions (provided via OTA update), a 1.92-inch AMOLED screen with 2.5D Sapphire glass, a titanium and aluminum frame, and a 471mAh battery that can last up to 10 days.

It also supports over 100 exercise modes including Free Diving, Cycling Assistant and Golf Mode, as well as health functions such as ECG, sleep monitoring, sleep apnea, emotional health 2.0, arterial stiffness and HRV. In addition, the watch offers a mini exercise mode with a panda icon, exclusive applications for racket sports, TNG QR payment support, IP6X rating, 64GB internal storage and is compatible with iPhone and Android.

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Standard uses a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with a brightness of up to 2500 nits. It is equipped with most of the sensors like the Pro version but does not support ECG, Depth Sensor, early detection of diabetes, arterial stiffness, as well as Freedive, Cycling Assistant and Golf Mode modes.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Spring Edition is an exclusive premium model that this time emphasizes a more feminine style compared to the previous model which had a masculine image. It comes with a 60-sided diamond-cut sapphire bezel, a metal button inlaid with genuine diamonds with 18 corners and a watch strap decorated with 99 genuine diamonds that are manually set.

The Huawei Freelip 2 Berry Purple is just a new color update that complements the previous blue and white options. There are no changes to the internal hardware, making it the same as an easy-to-use earbud earphone. Stay tuned for the official launch in Malaysia to find out full details including the selling price of these products.
