The launch of the Infinix GT 50 Pro today also revealed a partnership that has always been a question for users, namely the issue of device updates which is often a matter of endless debate. Now, this matter has been answered with an official disclosure from Infinix which confirmed that this device will receive security updates for five years and the Android system for three years.
This is a better improvement compared to the previous model, the GT 30 Pro which was only promised with two versions of Android and three years of security patches. This step clearly shows Infinix's commitment to long-term support, while giving users additional confidence in the durability of the software and security of their device.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro was launched a while ago with a powerful specification match including a 144Hz screen, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip, 6500mAh battery, powerful built-in cooling system and fast charging support. For the Malaysian market, the official selling price starts at RM1,899 (12GB RAM + 256GB) while the 12GB RAM + 512GB version is sold at RM2,199. Interestingly, there are also special prices for a limited time sale until 10 May 2026 which are as low as RM1,699 (12/256GB) and RM1,999 (12/512GB).
