Many influencers say that Instagram videos and photos look better when taken on an iPhone. This isn’t really an urban myth, but an undeniable fact unless you’re using a Galaxy or Pixel device. Instagram for Android isn’t optimized for all devices out there.
This morning Google announced that they’ve partnered with Meta to finally bring a better Instagram experience to Android devices. The first improvement is better Ultra HDR photo and video recording for more vibrant colors.
Video recording in the Instagram app also has a built-in video stabilization mode to reduce shake. On Pixel devices, the Night Sight feature is now more fully supported for bright photos even in dark situations.
