A few days ago we reported on Intel's upcoming Razor Lake-AX series of processors that will be marketed as APU components that will power desktop and laptop offerings by the end of 2027.
Now, an additional detail has been revealed about the processor chips, and that is the graphics offerings that will be featured. According to computer component information leakers at X like Jaykihn, Razor Lake-AX will come with 16 and 32 Intel Xe3 GPU graphics cores.
The Intel Xe3 cores are the same components that power the Intel Arc B390 graphics processing chip that is currently present in the Intel Core Ultra X 300 "Panther Lake" processor chips. In comparison, the Arc B390 graphics chip features 12 Xe3 cores, and is capable of running a variety of modern games at Full HD and 1440p resolutions with medium and high settings depending on the type of game.
With 32 Xe3 cores on offer, the Razor Lake-AX APU is expected to be capable of handling games at even higher settings and resolutions. This, and the combination of memory in the CPU package, is expected to result in an SoC that will allow any computer powered by this series of processors to have quite the impressive overall capabilities.
