Intel Razor Lake CPU Series Expected to Bring Back Memory Features in Chip Packages

Intel's Arrow Lake Refresh series of processors just launched a few weeks ago, and Intel's Nova Lake series of chips is expected to replace it by the end of this year. However, technological advancements do not stand still, and recently, a few details about their upcoming series of desktop and laptop processors, called Intel Razor Lake, have leaked onto the web.

What is known so far is that one of the series of processors is called Razor Lake-AX, which is an APU or Accelerated Processing Unit series of processors. If you've heard this term before, it's because AMD has been using it for their series of processors that feature a combination of CPU and GPU components in a single package, and can typically be used in both desktop and laptop designs.

With Intel Razor Lake-AX, it seems that Intel will not only be combining both CPU and GPU components, but just like Intel's previous series of thin and light laptop processors called Lunar Lake, it will come with built-in memory components as well.

It is expected to make the processor chip series a complete series of powerful computing chips in one package that not only introduces great and fast computing capabilities, but also allows computer brands to introduce computer designs that are much more attractive than current offerings.

Not only that, it is expected that any laptop using the Razor Lake-AX chip series will also come with a long battery life because the battery cells that can be loaded into it are larger than what is shown now.

The Intel Razor Lake-AX processor chip series is expected to be introduced by the end of 2027.
