Delivery Hero, the company behind the food delivery service FoodPanda, has now confirmed that it has received an offer from Uber to acquire the company. Uber is offering to acquire Delivery Hero for a value of €10 billion.
For your information, Uber already has a 19.5% stake in Delivery Hero, and is one of the largest shareholders in the company.
For now, Delivery Hero has not said whether it will accept or reject the offer. If it accepts it, it will indirectly give Uber access to a number of cross-country food delivery services, including FoodPanda in Malaysia.
