Honor has officially introduced the Magic V6 in Malaysia. It is the latest generation of book-style foldable phone with a focus on durability and hardware improvements.
The Magic V6 comes with a 7.95-inch inner display using an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,172 × 2,352 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile, the 6.52-inch outer screen also supports a refresh rate of 120Hz, FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Both screens not only support stylus input but also come with a 20MP selfie camera.
To ensure durability, Honor uses a new Super Steel Hinge that has been tested for up to 500,000 folds while maintaining a thin body design of 8.75mm when folded and only 4mm when opened. In addition, Honor also claims that the depth of the fold has been significantly reduced and an anti-reflective layer has been added to provide clearer vision.
The mainstay of the Magic V6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also comes with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 complete with cross-platform connectivity capabilities that allow two-way notification synchronization with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch as well as file sharing and second screen support for Mac users. Meanwhile, the 6660mAh silicon carbon battery is used to support 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging.
The Magic V6 also brings a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 64MP periscope telephoto that offers 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide. More interestingly, it is the first foldable phone with IP68/IP69 protection, thus providing resistance to dust and high-pressure water.
For those interested, the Honor Magic V6 is offered at a starting price of RM7,699 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB ROM model with Ferghana Red, Ivory White, Sunrise Gold and Classic Black color options. Meanwhile, the larger model with 16GB RAM + 1TB ROM is sold at RM8,899 in Ferghana Red and Classic Black color options.
For pre-orders until 11 June 2026, buyers will also receive a free gift in the form of a Skyworth 43” Google TV television as well as 2 years of VIP service including cracked screen protection.
