It has been almost a month since Radio TV Malaysia (RTM) and Unifi TV were announced as the official broadcasters for the 2026 World Cup. With the world's biggest football tournament set to take place from June 11 to July 19, many are still waiting to see what subscription fees Unifi TV will charge those who want to watch.
The mystery surrounding this price was slightly unraveled after the Unifi TV application began displaying a list of matches that will take place if a search for "World Cup" is performed. When pressed, the application said that Unifi customers only need to pay RM15 per day or RM75 for a Season Pass to watch the World Cup.
Those interested only need to go to the link https://unifi.com.my/fifaworldcup2026 to subscribe but at this time the website is not yet operational. The question is when can subscriptions be started, is this offer only for Unifi customers and will the matches be broadcast in 4K resolution.
The 2026 World Cup broadcast can be enjoyed via free TV, MyTV digital TV, the RTM Klik app and Unifi TV. As the official broadcaster, all 104 matches will be broadcast live on Unifi TV. RTM will broadcast most of the matches live and also delayed.
