The Latest Lenovo Legion 7a Powered by AMD Strix Halo Chip Now Arrives in the Local Market



If you are looking for a gaming laptop with a minimalist design, but with very powerful gaming capabilities and AI processing, Lenovo Malaysia has recently introduced the Lenovo Legion 7a laptop for the local market.


This gaming laptop comes with a 15.3-inch OLED screen display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, a refresh rate of 165Hz with a brightness value of 500 nits in SDR mode and 1100 nits in HDR mode with the ability to process 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.


In terms of component offerings, the Lenovo Legion 7a comes with a choice of AMD Strix Halo APU processing chips, including the AMD Ryzen AI+ 388 and AMD Ryzen AI+ 392 models with an AMD Radeon 8060S graphics processing chip with up to 3GB of LPDDR5X built-in memory.


In terms of plug options, the Lenovo Legion 7a comes with input support such as three USB4 plugs, one of which comes with charging support up to 180W and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, while the other two USB4 plugs come with charging support up to 100W and the same DisplayPort connection.


Other plugs include two USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, one HDMI 2.1 plug, one 3.5mm audio plug and one SD 4.0 card reader. It is also loaded with a large 84WHr battery that allows this laptop to be used on battery power all day.


The design of this laptop is also seen to maintain the minimalist Lenovo Legion design but still houses powerful internal components.
