Samsung has officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22 in London, England. The focus of Samsung’s launch event will be the three Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 Wide and Z Flip8 devices as well as updates to the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch earphones.
Also expected to be launched at the biggest Unpacked event for H2 2026 are smart glasses with Android XR that have been in the works since late 2025. This is Samsung’s first attempt to launch smart glasses to give Meta competition with their Ray-Ban Meta series.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Wide will be a new category device as it has a wide screen when closed and when opened it resembles a tablet screen ratio compared to the previous Z Fold. We will also be covering Samsung Unpacked live from London.
