SpaceX has officially changed its name to SpaceXAI. This rebranding is in line with the company's status as a company that now offers rocket launch services to space, wants to build data centers in orbit and on Earth, and develops the latest artificial intelligence (AI) models.

On X, an animation of the SpaceX logo changing to SpaceXAI was shared this morning. SpaceX acquired xAI in February. Last month, SpaceX was listed on the stock market, generating nearly $75 billion in funding, which is also the largest in history. This in turn made Elon Musk the first individual to reach trillion-dollar status in the world.
Although now seen as an AI company, SpaceXAI still has plans to send humans around the moon, build permanent settlements on the moon, and then build colonies on Mars.
A decade ago Elon Musk said SpaceX would send humans by the end of 2026. This will not happen with Musk later saying that the focus is now on landing humans on the moon by 2027.
