On July 18, 2026, the PMX AI service was introduced, offering access to interact with PM Anwar Ibrahim’s digital twin directly via WhatsApp. The service was developed by Zetrix AI under the Avatar.inc platform, and is one of the initiatives of the People’s Justice Party.
This PMX AI is said to have been trained using various writings, speeches, and government policy records throughout PM Anwar Ibrahim’s reign. PMX AI will also continue to be trained with various data updates and the latest statements. This step of introducing PMX AI is said to be an effort to modernize governance, in addition to ensuring that the government is more accessible, and allowing the public to get accurate feedback and information by interacting with PMX AI.
After its launch, the PMX AI service received high demand, causing it to be disrupted after just one day. Initially, PMX AI displayed a notice that it would resume operations after July 20, 2026. However, it is quite disappointing that this service that uses the name of our Prime Minister is still disrupted to this day.
When trying to send any message to PMX AI via WhatsApp, it simply says that they are still updating and will be back up and running soon. With over a month of downtime, it is quite disappointing and brings a bad name not only to PMX AI, but also to the developers behind it.
With this long delay, it is unknown whether the PMX AI service will continue, or the developers will just bury it and forget about it. This delay in restoring the service as soon as possible also does not reflect well on the development company behind it, Zetrix AI.
