Wide folding phones are expected to be a new trend in the industry and Xiaomi doesn't want to be left behind. Images that have gone viral on social media show their new device, which is believed to be called the Xiaomi 18 Fold. This device comes in a red color similar to the REDMI K100 Pro Max. The back houses a horizontal bar camera module with three lenses and an LED flash. Its thicker design also makes it different from other folding models.
Xiaomi 18 Fold is said to be the first phone to use a home-made chip, the XRING O3, which scored 5.22 million on AnTuTu. This chip comes with a full-power 10-core CPU with a multi-core score of over 15,000, which is a 60% increase compared to last year's chip. The new GPU also improves graphics performance by up to 85% while reducing power consumption by 64%. It also supports LPDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 113.8GB/s, thus providing better speed and a smoother user experience.
