Anthropic today unveiled its latest artificial intelligence model, Opus 5.5. This model is now accessible to users worldwide via the Claude AI service.
Anthropic states that Opus 5.5 is one of its most powerful models to date, offering performance comparable to the earlier Fable 5.1 across most tasks, while reportedly incurring lower usage costs than the previous Fable model.
In addition to this model, Anthropic is expected to introduce the Sonnet 5.5 and Haiku 5.5 models in the coming weeks, both of which are anticipated to offer performance improvements. Active Claude users can try out this new model starting today.
