Huawei has confirmed the official launch of its latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT7, in Malaysia, scheduled for September 29, 2026. With the tagline "Chase the Wild," the watch clearly targets an active lifestyle, emphasizing the freedom to engage in activities beyond one's daily routine.
The series comprises two distinct models—Pro and standard—with their features and functions already listed on the official website. The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro boasts a premium design featuring a titanium frame, a ceramic bezel, and a 1.47-inch sapphire glass screen with 3,000 nits of brightness. Its battery lasts up to 21 days (light use), 12 days (typical use), and 51 hours (trail running mode), with a full charge taking just 95 minutes via Huawei Wireless SuperCharge. Notably, it supports a health community feature for sharing data with family and facilitates diabetes risk studies in collaboration with the University of Malaya.
The Huawei Watch GT7 also offers many of the Pro model's impressive features, including diabetes-related functions and a focus on the Physical Readiness Score, HRV, sleep and stress monitoring, and emotional well-being apps. It features a lighter design with attractive, stylish color options, while the screen remains bright and clear for daily use. Pre-orders in Malaysia are now open with an RM100 deposit; the official price will only be revealed at the upcoming launch event.
