The Vivo V80 has been teased on the Vivo India website, showcasing a premium design featuring specially etched glass and a modern camera module. It is equipped with a ZEISS camera system featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700V main sensor with OIS, a 50MP IMX882 telephoto lens with up to 100x zoom, a ZEISS ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP wide-angle (92-degree) selfie camera with autofocus.
The device will support 4K 60fps video recording with cinematic effects such as Vibrant, Modern Movie, and Pastel. Vivo also offers ZEISS 100mm Center-Stage Portrait and 85mm Portrait modes with detailed cinematic bokeh. Additionally, it features Cinematic in Motion, Iconic in Portrait, and 4K Cinematic Video modes to enhance its camera capabilities.
Furthermore, the V80 is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also include a Nighttime Eye Protection function capable of reducing brightness to as low as 1 nit, along with a paper-like display mode for a more comfortable reading experience. It houses a 7200mAh battery—the largest capacity in the V series—supporting fast charging up to 90W.
Vivo is also expected to emphasize artificial intelligence through features like AI Creative Camera, Pet Pals, Snap Note, and Security Shield to streamline daily tasks. It will also offer up to six years of security updates. Three color options will be available: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black.
As of now, no official launch date has been announced, nor has there been confirmation regarding its release in the Malaysian market.
