The Xiaomi 18 Pro series has just been launched in China and is now confirmed to arrive in the Malaysian market this year. The announcement was made via a Facebook update yesterday, drawing significant attention, particularly from loyal fans.
Official promotional materials feature multiple languages—including Malay, Tamil, and Mandarin—reflecting Malaysia's cultural diversity. Promotional images also offer a glimpse of the device's design, showcasing a dark blue finish. However, the official launch date for Malaysia has not yet been announced.
The series name suggests that multiple model options will be available. In China, there are two main variants: the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and the Xiaomi 18 Pro. Both feature flagship-grade specifications, powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor.
Like last year's models, the series retains the Leica-engineered camera system and the secondary display on the back of the device. Notably, the series is equipped with a 200MP main camera that supports OIS. This combination positions the Xiaomi 18 Pro as one of the phones with the most advanced camera capabilities currently available.
