With no new phone releases this year, CMF is focusing on audio products. Launched yesterday, the CMF Speaker S and Speaker M feature designs resembling milk cartons, vibrant color schemes, and interchangeable outer panels and knobs.
The CMF Speaker M is the larger model, equipped with a 70mm driver (25W) and a 16mm tweeter (10W). It supports Bluetooth 6.0 pairing as well as a USB-C wired connection for low-latency audio. Quick pairing options include NFC, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair. Two speakers can be used simultaneously for stereo audio, and supported codecs include AAC, SBC, and LC3.
It houses a 4,900 mAh battery offering up to 18 hours of continuous playback and supports 18W charging. The speaker's body meets the IP68 standard for water and dust resistance.
Meanwhile, the CMF Speaker S is the smaller version, featuring a single 45mm audio driver and two passive radiators. It comes with a 2,600 mAh battery that also offers up to 18 hours of playback and 18W charging. Other features on the Speaker S are identical to those of the Speaker M.
Although CMF now operates as an independent company, the software used to control the Speaker M and Speaker S remains Nothing X, allowing users to adjust various audio settings and EQ. The retail prices for both speakers are listed below, though Malaysian pricing has not yet been announced:
