Lego has introduced the Lego Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set (11390), marking its official entry into the world of anime. For the first time, the Lego Group has collaborated with Toei Animation to bring Akira Toriyama’s fictional Dragon Ball universe to life in a nostalgic Lego build.
This Lego set depicts a famous scene from the Dragon Ball series. The main character, young Goku, rides the magical cloud known as Kintoun (a yellow flying cloud), while the mighty dragon Shenron appears after the seven Dragon Balls are gathered.
In the original story, Shenron is a legendary dragon capable of granting wishes. This set allows fans to recreate that iconic scene in Lego form, featuring young Goku atop the flying Kintoun cloud and Shenron emerging from the seven magical Dragon Balls.
Comprising 1,764 pieces, the completed set measures 32cm in height, 24cm in length, and 26cm in width. It is more than just a decorative collectible; it is a set that showcases the fusion of Lego creativity with elements of the anime world. This marks the first collaboration of its kind, and in Malaysia, the set will retail for RM599, with sales beginning on November 4.
Through this collaboration, Lego has also confirmed plans to continue producing more Dragon Ball sets in 2027 and beyond.
