Fujifilm today introduced the Instax Pal 2 to the Malaysian market.
This palm-sized camera comes with various features, including Instax frame options, special effects via the app, and the ability to transfer photos directly to a smartphone using a USB Type-C connection. Its design remains compact like the previous generation, but it has been improved with an LCD display on top and a built-in viewfinder.
A key highlight of this camera is the analog experience provided by the built-in viewfinder and analog control buttons for frame selection, alongside the "Instax Animation" function, which allows for capturing up to 10 consecutive images to create a flipbook-style animation.
Its compact body suits various styles, while photos can be printed using Instax Link printers in mini, SQUARE, or WIDE formats. Image formats are available in borderless, mini, SQUARE, and WIDE options, with 30 different effects accessible through the dedicated app. Users can also configure up to six effects to suit their personal preferences.
Users can choose between 10MP and 1MP resolutions, use the Angle Adjustment Attachment accessory for different shooting angles, and control the camera remotely via smartphone. The Instax Pal app is also available on the App Store and Google Play for photo editing and sharing. The Fujifilm Instax Pal 2 is priced at RM648 in Malaysia and comes in black and white color options.
