Meta has been quietly developing a humanoid robot prototype designed to assist humans with household tasks. The robot is being developed in collaboration with a robotics company in China and is currently referred to as "Max."
The robot is powered by an NVIDIA Jetson Thor chip and utilizes artificial intelligence models developed by Meta. Meta has yet to unveil the robot's design to the public; interestingly, a second prototype—dubbed "Max 2"—is already under development.
It was previously reported that Meta planned to venture into robotics, having acquired a robotics company to support its efforts. As of now, no official plans have been announced, but we may hear more about this in the near future.
