Saudi Aramco Acquires 49% Stake in Humain AI

Saudi Aramco announced today that it will acquire a 49% stake in Humain, a Saudi Arabia-based artificial intelligence company. The remaining 51% will be held by the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

This move is expected to support Humain’s continued rapid growth and the global expansion of its AI offerings. Furthermore, it will facilitate the development of more powerful new models, as well as the expansion of infrastructure, such as data center capacity.

Aramco’s acquisition of this stake aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategic position and vision, fostering ecosystem integration and the broadening of their collective offerings.

Humain already provides services that include Arabic-language capabilities and cultural integration tailored to Islamic values; the company also offers laptops developed in collaboration with Qualcomm. Additionally, Humain has previously invested in xAI.
