The Sony Xperia 10 VIII has been launched in Malaysia today. In terms of specifications, this new model retains the same processor, battery, and overall performance as the previous Xperia 10 VII. It features a 6.1-inch OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and incorporates Triluminos technology.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset—the same as in the Xperia 10 VII—paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging. While the internal storage is modest, the device supports microSDXC cards with a capacity of up to 2TB.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor (1/1.56-inch) and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, while an 8MP front-facing camera is provided for selfies. The device runs on Android 16, with support for up to 4 Android version updates and 6 years of security patches.
Sony has also retained the dedicated camera shutter button on the right side, along with stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is built to meet the IP68 standard for water and dust resistance.
The Sony Xperia 10 VIII is priced at RM2,999 in Malaysia and is available in three colors: Frozen White, Frosted Gray, and Misty Lilac. Early buyers in Malaysia will receive a pair of WH-CH730N headphones and a 'Style Cover' case—a bundle valued at RM768. This offer is valid only until November 30.
