These are the minimum specifications to use Windows 11

Microsoft is officially showing off Windows 11 which will start rolling out in the next few days to members of the Windows Insider Program. Want to install? Check the minimum specifications first...
Actually the specification requirements to install Windows 11 are not too heavy. For example, for processors, the minimum speed is 1GHz and a minimum of two cores, as well as system on chip for ARM devices. Oh yes, this processor should also be 64 bit compatible.

The minimum RAM capacity is also not large, which is 4GB and the remaining storage is at least 64GB. It's just that Microsoft recommends taking precautions by providing more storage so that Windows can still be updated.

Required graphics card is DirectX 12 compatible or later with WDDM 2.0 driver. In fact, Microsoft also provides a special application to check the compatibility of your PC components with Windows 11, which is the PC Health Application.

List of Windows 11 minimum specifications

Processor: 1GHz or faster with at least two cores or more and compatible with 64bit

RAM: 4GB

64GB storage

System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable

TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0

Graphics card: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 drivers

Screen: High definition (720p) with a diagonal measurement greater than 9 inches and a color depth of 8 bits per color channel.

Internet connection and Microsoft account: Windows 11 Home requires an internet connection and a Microsoft account to perform initial device setup. Switching from a Windows 11 Home device in S mode also requires an internet connection. OS updates also require an internet connection.

Windows 11 will actually only be officially available at the end of the year holiday season. But Microsoft will start sharing early versions of Windows 11 (not the version leaked on the internet some time ago) through the Windows Insider Program starting next week.
