Bill Gates recently attended the elite annual Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference, which was attended by the richest and most powerful people. There, the Microsoft founder also talked about his divorce issues with Melinda that have shocked the world.
The conference, which took place in Idaho's Sun Valley, included key figures from the tech world such as Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Sheryl Sandberg to Apple CEO Tim Cook. They discuss current world conditions and future plans.
Outside the conference, Gates talked about his divorce. A witness said that Gates apparently held back tears because he felt sad. Apparently, Gates considered his breakup with Melinda to be the result of his mistake.
"Basically he was referring to the fact that the divorce was his fault. He seemed quite emotional about it. He almost cried," the source was quoted as saying by Fox News on Tuesday (13/7/2021).
Other visitors described the same thing, that Bill Gates was emotional. But there are also those who say that Gates seems unhappy with the topic of divorce, even refusing to be invited by other visitors.
As reported, Gates and Melinda decided to divorce after a marriage that had lasted about 27 years. In a subsequent report, various negative behaviors of Bill Gates were revealed, such as tricking Microsoft employees into frequent visits to his former home.
