The 18 -year -old escorted the richest man into space

On July 20, the world’s richest man Jeff Bezos will fly into space with an airplane made by his company, Blue Origin. The founder of Amazon is not alone, he will be accompanied by a teenager who is just 18 years old.
His name is Oliver Daemen, son of Somerset Capital Partners CEO Joes Daemen. After the flight, Oliver will be the youngest person to ever go into space.

Accompanying Bezos is an anonymous passenger who won a $ 28 million auction to fly with Blue Origin. However, in the latest development, he did not fly until he was replaced by Oliver.

Actually, it was Oliver’s father, Joes Daemen, who signed up to fly, but he handed it over to his son. It doesn’t say how much he should pay, but it’s certainly not cheap.

Oliver is said to have loved all things since he was little. So this flight is indeed highly anticipated.

The flight will consist of 4 passengers. In addition to Jeff Bezos and Oliver, there is 82 -year -old Wally Funk, who is the oldest person to go into space. The last is Bezos' brother, Mark.

The option on July 20 seems to have been chosen long ago by Blue Origin, as they want to take momentum on the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission on the Moon.

Meanwhile, this will be the first manned flight performed by a New Shepard rocket. The rocket will fly to an altitude of 100 km which is the boundary between Earth and outer space. Jeff Bezos will follow his friend Richard Branson, who has gone into space using the VSS Unity aircraft from Virgin Galactic.
