In 2020 Twitter introduced a feature that allows users to post tweets by voice.
As an alternative to typing text, this is useful for users who want to deliver a longer message, longer than 140 characters.
But the problem is that these voice tweets are hard to catch for those with hearing problems. They could not hear what was being said in the tweet.
Well, the good news is that Twitter has announced that they will be rolling out automatic captions for voice tweets.
"Now when you record a voice tweet, the text will be generated and appear automatically. To view the text on the web, click the 'CC' button," Twitter wrote.
Users only need to record voice tweets as usual, and other users only need to click the CC button to view the text.
We take your feedback and we get the job done. To improve the accessibility feature, captions for voice Tweets were launched today.

Unfortunately this feature is only available for Twitter websites. This means that if you see an audio tweet on a mobile app, it won’t work.
The accuracy of this text seems to depend on the audio quality and the accent of the tweeter. Maybe he could deviate from what was said.
But at least this makes it easier for those who are hard of hearing and hopefully in the future Twitter will continue to improve the capabilities of this automatic caption feature.
