These days are dramatic times for Microsoft founder Bill Gates. The millionaire is officially divorced, sadly escaping and his wealth reduced to gossip.
Like a four -action drama, this is a Bill Gates moment in the last week that we compiled:



1. Bill Gates is officially divorced

On Monday (2/8) the King County Superior Court, Washington, USA, approved the divorce of Bill Gates and Melinda Gates. The Big Dipper 27 years of marriage, are over.





Both Bill and Melinda will support each other, and also Melinda will not change her last name. The judge also ordered Bill and Melinda to divide their property and wealth based on an agreed separation contract, as quoted from Cnet.



News of Bill Gates and Melinda’s divorce shocked the public, as the two have always been seen working together at the foundation. But after the announcement of their divorce, news of their breakup, over the past few years, immediately surfaced.





2. Bill Gates regrets being friends with Jeffrey Epstein

After a formal divorce, there were several opportunities for media interviews with Bill Gates. On Friday (6/8) it was revealed that Bill Gates regretted befriending Jeffrey Epstein, a high -profile sex offender who had died in prison for suicide. This reportedly also made Melinda Gates, his now divorced wife, fed up with him.



Gates admits that his relationship with Epstein was a big mistake. Moreover, it seems that Epstein became an influential figure as he hung out with Gates and several other important figures before being arrested by the authorities.



“It’s a very big mistake to spend time with him, to give him credibility,” Bill Gates said.



3. Bill Gates sadly divorced Melinda

Married for 27 years to Melinda, of course many memories are carved by Bill Gates. Their marriage ark unfortunately has taken place, they are officially divorced. The Microsoft founder also expressed his sadness.

"This is a sad point. Melinda is an amazing person and that partnership we have ended is a source of personal grief," Gates said.

4. Bill Gates' wealth is declining

Insiders on Tuesday (10/8) reported that Bill Gates has settled the division of this property with Melinda. Although the division of assets was not specified in detail, the Microsoft founder was noted to have given large sums of money or shares to his ex -wife.



Bill Gates ’investment company, Cascade Investment LLC, has transferred USD 2.4 billion worth of shares to Melinda. Last May, Bill also gave Melinda assets worth USD 3.2 billion, so Melinda's wealth is currently in the range of USD 5.6 billion or about Rp 80 trillion.



According to Forbes, the division of wealth has ranked Bill Gates as the fourth richest person in the world to fifth place with USD 129.6 billion. He was beaten by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg by $ 132 billion.
