Google has just released its newest Pixel, the Pixel 5A 5G, which is priced at USD 450. Then, Google released a new ad promoting the 3.5mm audio port on the phone.
This ad is made like a parody, but promotes features that actually exist. Namely the 3.5mm audio port, which is now fairly rare in today's phones.
In fact, the Pixel 5A has some other features that are 'really' interesting, such as IP67 certification of dust and water resistance. Or a larger screen size and the largest battery capacity ever used in the Pixel phone line, which is 4,680 mAh.
This ad about the audio port was made in the style of an Apple ad, when Jony Ive explained certain features in Apple's products. Of course, when Ive was still working at Apple, because now he has resigned from the company with the kroak apple logo.
Google calls this audio port 'the circle', and various other terms that are supposed to be ridiculous but are actually funny. Even Google also uses various technical terms, such as when they describe the types of compatible audio jacks, namely 1/8th inch three pole TRS and four pole TRRS.

"Calling this perfectly-symmetrical, technological marvel, a "headphone jack" may feel like an understatement...but technically, that's what it's called, so... fair enough. Behold! The Headphone Jack, on the Google Pixel 5a with 5G," wrote Google.
The design of the Pixel 5A 5G is similar to its predecessor, but the difference is that it doesn't use polycarbonate material, but metal. While the battery has increased to 4,680 mAh from the previous 3,885 mAh. Like the Pixel 4A, this phone is not equipped with wireless charging support, Google only provides 18W fast charging.
The Pixel 5A 5G screen carries a 6.34-inch OLED panel with Full HD + resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This cellphone adopts a punch hole whose position is in the upper left corner.
That's where Google puts the 8 MP selfie camera. While on the back there are two cameras consisting of 13 MP and 16 MP (ultra-wide).
There are no changes to the kitchen spur. The Pixel 5a 5G is still powered by the Snapdragon 765G with 6GB of LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage.
